Alongside substance addictions like alcohol and drugs, behavioral addictions (e.g., technology, gambling, and shopping) have increasingly spread among various segments of society in recent years. This situation requires a multifaceted and multidisciplinary approach to the issue of addiction. <\/p>\n<p>Dealing with addiction is not just a process that ends with treatment; it also involves steps such as prevention, guidance, and social support to reintegrate individuals into society. Addressing this multifaceted issue necessitates the concerted efforts of all actors, ranging from individuals and families to educational institutions and the state.<\/p>\n<p>For the forthcoming issue of our journal, themed \u201cAddiction\u201d, we invite scholarly contributions that investigate the causes and consequences of addiction and offer practice-oriented \/ policy-relevant perspectives in this field. The principal aim of this issue is to introduce innovative perspectives and effective intervention strategies in addiction research, with the potential to yield tangible social benefits.<\/p>\n<p>Below are possible topics that may be included in our issue.
