Due to the opportunities provided by communication technologies, power, influence and functions of the press and media increase and so that play an instrumental role in maximization of the political and\/or financial ambitions of political or economic actors. Hence, debates on news ethics continue forever to be a major issue. This study focuses on ethical issues in the news and more specifically political news; elaborates on a news about the violence that a political party leader faced in Turkey, and analyzes how media (newspapers) from different political views reflected the case. Bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmada medyada haber eti\u011fi konusu, siyasi bir haber (bir siyasi parti genel ba\u015fkan\u0131na d\u00f6n\u00fck \u015fiddet eylemi haberi) \u00e7er\u00e7evesinde ele al\u0131nm\u0131\u015f; olay\u0131n farkl\u0131 siyasi duru\u015flardaki baz\u0131 medya organlar\u0131 (gazeteler) taraf\u0131ndan haberle\u015ftirilme bi\u00e7imi, belirli k\u0131staslar alt\u0131nda toplanan veriler e\u015fli\u011finde, haber eti\u011fi perspektifiyle ve kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131rmal\u0131 olarak incelenmi\u015ftir.
