Novel, in many ways reflects individual\u2019s and society\u2019s characteristics as a literary work. In this study, representative of different femininity and masculinity on Z\u00fclf\u00fc Livaneli\u2019 s novel Bliss\u2019 characters were aimed to investigate within the context of gender. In the novel, Meryem who was raped by her uncle, was claimed to \u2018needs to be killed\u2019 because of so-called honor and also due to this understanding, this task was found appropriate for Meryem\u2019s uncle\u2019s son, Cemal. The novel reflects the pressure on women and gender discrimination. In this novel women seems to be the symbol of honor and men seems to be responsible for this honor. Writer highlights the pressure on men and women caused by gender roles. In this study, gender and gender roles in Turkey were discussed and increasing awareness of gender and gender roles were aimed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Keywords: <\/strong> Z\u00fclf\u00fc Livaneli, Bliss, gender, gender role.<\/p>\n<h1>\n Z\u00fclf\u00fc Livaneli\u2019nin Mutluluk Roman\u0131 Karakterlerinin Toplumsal Cinsiyet Ba\u011flam\u0131nda \u0130ncelenmesi <\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00d6zet: <\/strong><br \/>\n Toplum ve bireylerin hayat\u0131nda her zaman var olmu\u015f ve var olmaya devam edecek olan edebiyat ve edebi eserler, topluma \u00f6zg\u00fc k\u00fclt\u00fcrel \u00f6\u011felerin anlat\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131, ifade edildi\u011fi alanlard\u0131r. Bir edebi eser t\u00fcr\u00fc olarak romanlar, bir\u00e7ok a\u00e7\u0131dan toplumun ve o toplumdaki bireylerin \u00f6zelliklerini yans\u0131tmaktad\u0131r. Bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmada, T\u00fcrkiye\u2019deki farkl\u0131 erkeklik ve kad\u0131nl\u0131k hallerini resmeden Z\u00fclf\u00fc Livaneli\u2019nin mutluluk roman\u0131nda yer alan karakterlerin, toplumsal cinsiyet rolleri a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan incelenmesi ama\u00e7lanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bir nitel ara\u015ft\u0131rma y\u00f6ntemi olan k\u00fclt\u00fcrel analiz kapsam\u0131nda s\u00f6ylem analizi yap\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Romanda, amcas\u0131 taraf\u0131ndan tecav\u00fcze u\u011frayan Meryem\u2019in &#8220;t\u00f6re&#8221; anlay\u0131\u015f\u0131ndan \u00f6t\u00fcr\u00fc \u00f6ld\u00fcr\u00fclmesinin gerekti\u011fi ve yine bu anlay\u0131\u015ftan \u00f6t\u00fcr\u00fc bu g\u00f6revin, Meryem\u2019in amcas\u0131n\u0131n o\u011flu olan Cemal\u2019e uygun g\u00f6r\u00fclmesi anlat\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de kad\u0131na y\u00f6nelik cinsiyet ayr\u0131mc\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 resmeden, kad\u0131n\u0131n namus abidesi ve erke\u011fin de namus bek\u00e7isi haline getirili\u015fini anlatan romanda, toplumsal cinsiyet rollerinin kad\u0131n ve erkek \u00fczerinde nas\u0131l bask\u0131 olu\u015fturdu\u011fu yans\u0131t\u0131lmaktad\u0131r.
