The main problematic of the study is translation (as an action) becoming popular culture material through crowdsourcing translation; the quality of the translations produced in that popular ground and identity of translators translating. Within the research, by examining one of the social media website called Facebook, 16 question survey was conducted to volunteer transla\u00actors contributing Facebook Turkish translation. The results of the evaluation have emerged in the framework of the implementation of the survey. The evaluations are limited to the groups surveyed. In the first part, the position of crowdsourcing in popular culture is studied and in the second part \u201ccrowdsourcing translation\u201d is analyzed. At the end of the study, it has seen how translation action transformed through crowdsourcing translation and become mass producti\u00acon ultimately and it seems to become a popular cultural product gradually.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Keywords: <\/strong> Crowdsourcing Translation, Social Media Translation, Volunteer translation\/translator.<\/p>\n<h1> Sosyal Medyada Kitle \u00c7eviri \u00dczerine Bir Ara\u015ft\u0131rma <\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00d6zet: <\/strong> Bu ara\u015ft\u0131rma, T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de \u201cSosyal Medya \u00c7evirileri\u201d \u00f6rne\u011finde yayg\u0131nla\u015fan ve giderek po\u00acp\u00fcler bir eylem haline geldi\u011fi d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclen \u201cKitle \u00c7eviri (crowdsourcing translation)\u201d y\u00f6ntemini inceleme amac\u0131n\u0131 ta\u015f\u0131maktad\u0131r. \u00c7al\u0131\u015fman\u0131n temel sorunsallar\u0131; kitle \u00e7eviri y\u00f6ntemiyle kitlesel \u00fcretimi yap\u0131lan \u00e7eviri eyleminin giderek pop\u00fcler k\u00fclt\u00fcr \u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fc haline gelmesi, pop\u00fcler zeminde \u00fcretilen bu \u00e7evirilerin kalitesi, \u00e7eviriyi \u00fcreten \u00e7evirmenlerin kimli\u011fidir. Ara\u015ft\u0131rma kapsam\u0131nda sosyal medya sitelerinden Facebook incelenerek Facebook\u2019un T\u00fcrk\u00e7eye \u00e7evrilmesine katk\u0131da bulunan g\u00f6n\u00fcll\u00fc \u00e7evirmenlere 16 soruluk anket uygulanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Ara\u015ft\u0131rma sonucu yap\u0131lan de\u011ferlendirmeler uygulanan anket \u00e7er\u00e7evesinde ortaya \u00e7\u0131km\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. De\u011ferlendirmeler yaln\u0131zca an-ket uygulanan grupla s\u0131n\u0131rl\u0131d\u0131r. Ara\u015ft\u0131rman\u0131n ilk b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcnde kitle \u00e7evirinin pop\u00fcler k\u00fclt\u00fcrdeki konumu de\u011ferlendirilmi\u015f, ikinci b\u00f6l\u00fcmde sosyal medya sitesi Facebook \u00f6rne\u011finde \u201ckitle \u00e7eviri\u201d olgusu incelenmi\u015ftir.
