These mutualistic relationships eventually intensified following the animal domestication. Southeast Anatolia is one of the important regions where the first domestication of sheep, goat, cattle, and pig occurred as well as domestic herds have been fundamental in every socio-cultural aspect in the region until today. Therefore, Southeast Anatolia has been an ideal place for pastoral and anthrozoological study. Through fieldworks and exploratory case studies in agro-pastoral societies in K\u0131z\u0131ltepe, we found certain sheep, goats, and cattle are capable of distinguishing and recognizing human and other cross-species individuals as like they do in their own species. Alongside of providing protein, wealth and social status, herd animals in K\u0131z\u0131ltepe also possess deep affection and emotional bonds with human individuals as like as pets in urban societies. On the other hand, we do not observe any gender or sibling effect in children-animal bond which was focused in some contemporary studies. Our overall observations and findings also demonstrate some intangible culture cores in Southeast Anatolia which is promoted mainly by the complex relationships between human and their domestic herds.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Keywords: <\/strong> Anthrozoology, Human-animal bond, Pastoralism, Southeast Anatolia, K\u0131z\u0131ltepe.<\/p>\n<h1> G\u00fcneydo\u011fu Anadolu B\u00f6lgesinde K\u0131z\u0131ltepe\u2019deki Agro-Pastoral Topluluklar \u00dczerine Bir Antrozoolojik \u0130nceleme <\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00d6z: <\/strong> \u0130nsanlar varolu\u015ftan beri d\u00fcnyada di\u011fer hayvanlarla karma\u015f\u0131k ili\u015fkiler kurup ya\u015famaktad\u0131r. G\u00fcneydo\u011fu Anadolu b\u00f6lgesi, koyun, ke\u00e7i, s\u0131\u011f\u0131r ve domuzun ilk evcille\u015ftirildi\u011fi \u00f6nemli b\u00f6lgelerden birisidir. Bunun yan\u0131 s\u0131ra, sosyo-k\u00fclt\u00fcrel a\u00e7\u0131dan evcil s\u00fcr\u00fcler de b\u00f6lgede bug\u00fcne kadar temel bir yer tutmaktad\u0131r. Bu nedenle, G\u00fcneydo\u011fu Anadolu b\u00f6lgesi pastoral \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar ve insan-hayvan ili\u015fkileri \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 i\u00e7in ideal bir yer olarak kabul edilmektedir. K\u0131z\u0131ltepe\u2019deki pastoral toplumlarda yap\u0131lan saha \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131 ve vaka ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131n sonucunda insan ve evcil s\u00fcr\u00fc hayvanlar\u0131 aras\u0131ndaki ili\u015fkilerin yan\u0131 s\u0131ra, bu ara\u015ft\u0131rma bireyleri kendi t\u00fcrlerinde oldu\u011fu gibi ay\u0131rt edebilen ve tan\u0131yabilen belirli koyun, ke\u00e7i ve s\u0131\u011f\u0131rlar\u0131n oldu\u011funu tespit etmektedir. K\u0131z\u0131ltepe\u2019deki toplumlar i\u00e7in s\u00fcr\u00fc hayvanlar\u0131 besin a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan protein kayna\u011f\u0131 ve sosyal stat\u00fc olarak da zenginlik kayna\u011f\u0131 olarak kullan\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. Buna ek olarak kentteki ev hayvanlar\u0131 da insanlara kar\u015f\u0131 derin sevgiye ve duygusal ba\u011flara sahiptir. \u00d6te yandan, baz\u0131 \u00e7a\u011fda\u015f ara\u015ft\u0131rmalarda odaklan\u0131lan\u0131n aksine, K\u0131z\u0131ltepe\u2019deki \u00e7ocuk-hayvan ili\u015fkisi i\u00e7inde herhangi bir cinsiyet veya karde\u015flik etkisi g\u00f6zlemlenmemektedir.
