Persuading the masses or establishing an emotional connection with them has become an interactive task with Web 2.0 technologies, and this has become the main duty of communication professionals. Firms can give the correct answers to the demands of the speedily changing target group and continue their existence in competition only in this manner. Brand communication and public relations are now receiving the value they deserve. In this article changing nature of communication in PR and reputation management is discussed and the case \u201c\u00dcsk\u00fcdar Municipality &#8211; Cat House\u201d Project as an example of crisis communication is analyzed. Web 2.0 ile interaktif hale gelen kitleleri ikna etmek ya da duygusal ba\u011f kurmak art\u0131k ileti\u015fimcilerin ana g\u00f6revi olmu\u015ftur. \u0130nsanlar art\u0131k \u00f6zel ya da kamu kurumlar\u0131n\u0131n ne s\u00f6yledikleriyle de\u011fil, ne yapt\u0131klar\u0131yla ilgilenmektedir. Bu ba\u011flamda 10 Ocak 2017 tarihinde \u00dcsk\u00fcdar\u2019da bir apartman\u0131n giri\u015finde iki kom\u015funun kedi y\u00fcz\u00fcnden tart\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 sosyal medya sayesinde iki saat i\u00e7erisinde sosyal medyan\u0131n topik konusu ve kitle ileti\u015fim ara\u00e7lar\u0131nda ana haber olarak t\u00fcm T\u00fcrkiye\u2019ye duyurulmu\u015ftur. Bu krizi monitoring ile takip eden \u00dcsk\u00fcdar Belediyesi, krizi kendisi i\u00e7in itibar artt\u0131ran bir vakaya \u00e7evirmi\u015ftir. 2-3 saat i\u00e7erisinde soruna \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm getirmi\u015f, bunu da tekrar sosyal medyada yayarak alk\u0131\u015flanan bir \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmaya d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcrm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. Bu vaka \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm\u00fcnde, belediyenin sosyal medya y\u00f6netimini uygulayan ajans y\u00f6neticisi ile soru-cevap \u015feklinde vaka incelenmi\u015ftir.
