Russia tried to progress by building close relationships with the existing ethnic nations so as to go into the borders of the both states which had a mixed ethnic structure. Therefore, Russia wanted to know Kurd nation which exists on the targeted way. This identification period which started with learning Kurdish language enables Russians to make considerable contributions to the Kurdish literature. In this relation, the institutions were established and some efforts were initiated with the name of Kurdology. Russia, in contrast to the Kurdology works of the other European countries, carried out the relevant studies under the umbrella of Academy of Sciences. The consulate and the military personals along with the civic researchers were asked for making investigations related to Kurds with the commands of Russia. The efforts started in the Russia about the Kurdology field have got continued until now, firstly by Soviet Russia, then by Russian Federation; in this way, Russia have made a lot of progress on this area. The current study examines specifically the activities of Russia regarding the Kurdology subject.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Keywords: <\/strong> Russia, Orientalism, Kurdology, Kurds, Caucassus.<\/p>\n<h1> Rusya\u2019n\u0131n K\u00fcrdoloji \u00c7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 (1787-1947) <\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00d6z: <\/strong> Kafkaslar \u00fczerinden Akdeniz\u2019e inme plan\u0131nda Rusya kar\u015f\u0131s\u0131nda Osman ve \u0130ran devletlerini bulmu\u015f ancak kar\u0131\u015f\u0131k bir etnik yap\u0131ya sahip bu iki g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc devletin i\u00e7erisinde ilerlemek i\u00e7in etnik topluluklarla ili\u015fki i\u00e7erisine girmeyi uygun g\u00f6rm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. Bu sebeple Rusya hedef yolu \u00fczerinde bulunan K\u00fcrtleri tan\u0131ma ve inceleme s\u00fcrecini ba\u015flatm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. K\u00fcrtlerin dilini \u00f6\u011frenmekle ba\u015flayan bu tan\u0131ma s\u00fcreci zamanla Ruslar\u0131, K\u00fcrt edebiyat\u0131 olu\u015fturmaya kadar g\u00f6t\u00fcrm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. Rusya bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 di\u011fer Avrupa \u00fclkelerinin k\u00fcrdoloji \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n\u0131n aksine tek elden bilimler akademisi ile y\u00fcr\u00fctm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. Bu konuyla ilgili kendi ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131n\u0131 yapan sivil ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131lar oldu\u011fu gibi Rusya b\u00f6lgedeki konsolosluk g\u00f6revlileri ve askeri personelden K\u00fcrtlerle ilgili \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar yap\u0131lmas\u0131 istenmi\u015ftir. Rusya k\u00fcrdoloji alan\u0131ndaki \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcze kadar devam ettirmi\u015f ve kendisini bu alanda s\u00fcrekli geli\u015ftirmi\u015ftir.
