Abstract: <\/strong> The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between university students\u2019 self-esteem levels and organ donation attitudes. The research sample was composed of 250 students studying at Sakarya University Faculty of Business Administration. The \u201cOrgan Donation Attitude Scale\u201d, \u201cSelf Respect Scale\u201d and personal information form belonging to students were used as data collection tools. According to research findings, information about organ donation was obtained mostly via visual media. University students\u2019 self-esteem is moderate. Positive and statistically significant relationships were found between self-esteem and organ donation attitude. Self-esteem affects organ donation positively. The level of self-esteem of university students is thought to increase with the level of organ donation attitude. In addition, there was a significant difference between altruistic value, which is the sub-dimension of organ donation attitude scale, and sex, age and class. Activities such as organ donation trainings, the explanation of the precepts, and the participation of young people in donation campaigns will be useful for raising awareness and awareness of the donations of the students and the community.<\/p>\n

\u00d6z: <\/strong> Bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fman\u0131n amac\u0131, \u00fcniversite \u00f6\u011frencilerinin benlik sayg\u0131s\u0131 d\u00fczeyleri ve organ ba\u011f\u0131\u015f\u0131 tutumlar\u0131 ili\u015fkisini incelemektir. Ara\u015ft\u0131rma \u00f6rneklemini Sakarya \u00dcniversitesi \u0130\u015fletme Fak\u00fcltesi\u2019nde okuyan 250 \u00f6\u011frenci olu\u015fturmu\u015ftur. Veri toplama arac\u0131 olarak \u201cOrgan Ba\u011f\u0131\u015f\u0131 Tutum \u00d6l\u00e7e\u011fi\u201d, \u201cBenlik Sayg\u0131s\u0131 \u00d6l\u00e7e\u011fi\u201d ve \u00f6\u011frencilere ait ki\u015fisel bilgi formu kullan\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Ara\u015ft\u0131rma bulgular\u0131na g\u00f6re organ ba\u011f\u0131\u015f\u0131 ile ilgili bilgilerin en fazla g\u00f6rsel medya arac\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131yla elde edildi\u011fi g\u00f6r\u00fclm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. \u00dcniversite \u00f6\u011frencilerin benlik sayg\u0131s\u0131 orta d\u00fczeydedir. Benlik sayg\u0131s\u0131 ile organ ba\u011f\u0131\u015f\u0131 tutumu aras\u0131nda pozitif y\u00f6nde ve istatistiksel a\u00e7\u0131dan anlaml\u0131 ili\u015fki bulunmu\u015ftur. Benlik sayg\u0131s\u0131, organ ba\u011f\u0131\u015f\u0131 tutumunu olumlu y\u00f6nde etkilemektedir. \u00dcniversite \u00f6\u011frencilerin benlik sayg\u0131s\u0131 d\u00fczeyleri art\u0131k\u00e7a organ ba\u011f\u0131\u015f\u0131 tutum d\u00fczeylerinin de artaca\u011f\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclmektedir. Ayr\u0131ca organ ba\u011f\u0131\u015f\u0131 tutum \u00f6l\u00e7e\u011finin alt boyutu olan altruistik de\u011fer ile cinsiyet, ya\u015f ve s\u0131n\u0131f aras\u0131nda anlaml\u0131 bir farkl\u0131l\u0131k bulunmu\u015ftur. Organ ba\u011f\u0131\u015f\u0131 ile ilgili e\u011fitimlerin yap\u0131lmas\u0131, \u00f6neminin anlat\u0131lmas\u0131, gen\u00e7lerin ba\u011f\u0131\u015f kampanyalar\u0131na kat\u0131lmas\u0131 gibi faaliyetler \u00f6\u011frencilerin ve toplumun organ ba\u011f\u0131\u015f\u0131 konusunda bilin\u00e7lenmesine ve fark\u0131ndal\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131n artmas\u0131na yararl\u0131 olacakt\u0131r.<\/p>\n
