We can find the first formulations of this ideology in the writings of nationalist intellectuals like Ziya G\u00f6kalp and Yusuf Ak\u00e7ura. In this sense, it can be argued that the fate of populism in the Turkish context is determined by the history of Turkish nationalism from its early stages on. Populism was considered as one key constituting element of Turkish nationalism. With the incorporation of the idea of solidarism into the populist idiom via Durkheimian sociology by G\u00f6kalp, Turkish people were imagined as an unprivileged and classless nation. This legacy was also continued by the ruling elite of the early Republican period.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; font-size: 15px\"><strong>Keywords: <\/strong> Populism, Solidarism, Nationalism, Second Constitutional Period, Early Republican Era.<\/p>\n<h1>II. Me\u015frutiyet D\u00f6neminden Cumhuriyet\u2019in Kurulu\u015f Y\u0131llar\u0131na Halk\u00e7\u0131l\u0131k Fikrinin Geli\u015fimi<\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; font-size: 15px\"><strong>\u00d6z: <\/strong> T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de halk\u00e7\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n k\u00f6kenlerini II. Me\u015frutiyet d\u00f6nemine kadar g\u00f6t\u00fcrebilmemiz m\u00fcmk\u00fcnd\u00fcr. Bu ideolojinin ilk bi\u00e7imlerini Ziya G\u00f6kalp ve Yusuf Ak\u00e7ura gibi T\u00fcrk milliyet\u00e7isi entelekt\u00fcellerin yaz\u0131lar\u0131nda g\u00f6rebiliriz. Bu a\u00e7\u0131dan bak\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131nda, T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de, halk\u00e7\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n bu erken d\u00f6nem tarihinin kaderi T\u00fcrk milliyet\u00e7ili\u011finin tarihi taraf\u0131ndan belirlenmi\u015ftir. Halk\u00e7\u0131l\u0131k, T\u00fcrk milliyet\u00e7ili\u011fini olu\u015fturan ve besleyen \u00f6nemli unsurlardan bir tanesidir. Dayan\u0131\u015fma (tesan\u00fct) kavram\u0131n\u0131n G\u00f6kalp taraf\u0131ndan, Durkheim sosyolojisi yoluyla, halk\u00e7\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n s\u00f6ylemine kat\u0131lmas\u0131yla birlikte T\u00fcrk halk\u0131, imtiyazs\u0131z ve s\u0131n\u0131fs\u0131z bir kitle olarak tahayy\u00fcl edilmeye ba\u015flanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.
