Abstract: <\/strong> Social media is becoming an important channel of online interactive participation and local governments have the opportunity to increase citizens\u2019 participation in political and social relations. Local governments around the world use the Internet and related Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) to meet the demands of citizens for access to more information, institutional transparency, participatory decision-making and access to public services. Therefore, information and communication technologies play an important role in providing participatory management understanding in local governments. Today, in many countries, local governments are effectively using social media tools. In this study, it describes how social media can improve cultural, political, economic and social commitment when used correctly. In addition, managers represent important communication tools to emphasize the principles of openness, transparency and encourage civic engagement. Today, local governments have started social media strategies in many countries of the world.<\/p>\n

D\u00fcnya \u00e7ap\u0131nda yerel y\u00f6netimler, vatanda\u015flar\u0131n daha fazla bilgiye eri\u015fim, kurumsal \u015feffafl\u0131k, kat\u0131l\u0131mc\u0131 karar alma ve kamu hizmetlerine eri\u015fim konusundaki isteklerini kar\u015f\u0131lamak i\u00e7in internet ve ilgili Bilgi ve \u0130leti\u015fim Teknolojilerini (B\u0130T) kullanmaktad\u0131r. Dolay\u0131s\u0131yla bilgi ve ileti\u015fim teknolojileri yerel y\u00f6netimlerde kat\u0131l\u0131mc\u0131 y\u00f6netim anlay\u0131\u015f\u0131n\u0131n sa\u011flanmas\u0131nda \u00f6nemli rol oynamaktad\u0131r. G\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde bir\u00e7ok \u00fclkede yerel y\u00f6netimler sosyal medya ara\u00e7lar\u0131n\u0131 etkin \u015fekilde kullanmaktad\u0131rlar. Bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmada, do\u011fru kullan\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131nda sosyal medyan\u0131n k\u00fclt\u00fcrel, politik, ekonomik ve sosyal ba\u011fl\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 nas\u0131l geli\u015ftirebilece\u011fini anlatmaktad\u0131r. Ayr\u0131ca y\u00f6neticiler, a\u00e7\u0131kl\u0131k, \u015feffafl\u0131k ilkelerini vurgulamak ve sivil kat\u0131l\u0131m\u0131 te\u015fvik etmek i\u00e7in \u00f6nemli ileti\u015fim ara\u00e7lar\u0131n\u0131 temsil ederler. G\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde d\u00fcnyan\u0131n bir\u00e7ok \u00fclkesinde yerel y\u00f6netimler sosyal medya stratejilerini ba\u015flatm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n
