Abstract: <\/strong>Genetically modified organism (GMO) refers to as a new organism which is produced by transfering artificially gene to living beings\u2019 DNA structures. It is a well known fact that GMO is obtained throughout biotechnological studies. However, it can be argued that such production includes important risks for human health. Since the Maastrich Treaty in 1993, European Union (EU) has established legal arrangements against these health risks. By the same taken, one could analyse both regulations and directives concerning the problems of GMOs according to EU laws.<\/p>\n

\u00d6z: <\/strong>Geneti\u011fi de\u011fi\u015ftirilmi\u015f organizma (GDO), do\u011fal olmayan yollarla bir canl\u0131ya gen aktar\u0131larak DNA yap\u0131s\u0131n\u0131n de\u011fi\u015ftirilmesi ile olu\u015fan yeni organizmaya verilen add\u0131r. GDO\u2019lar modern biyoteknolojik \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar ile elde edilmektedir. Ancak bunlar\u0131n insan sa\u011fl\u0131\u011f\u0131 i\u00e7in \u00f6nemli riskleri oldu\u011fu bilinmektedir. AB\u2019de 1993 y\u0131l\u0131nda y\u00fcr\u00fcrl\u00fc\u011fe giren Maastricht Anla\u015fmas\u0131 ile GDO\u2019lar\u0131n sahip oldu\u011fu sa\u011fl\u0131k risklerine kar\u015f\u0131 yasal d\u00fczenlemeler yap\u0131lmas\u0131 gerekti\u011fi kabul edilmi\u015ftir. Buna ba\u011fl\u0131 olarak AB hukukunda GDO\u2019larla ilgili bir\u00e7ok y\u00f6nerge ve t\u00fcz\u00fck kabul edilmi\u015ftir.<\/p>\n
