That this different language has been manifested especially in the form of slogans and graffitis has been subjected to many column and humor magazines during the protests. In comparison to older protests Gezi has many distinct differences. This transformation in language has played a key role to understand social movements.<br \/>\nWhen we accept the culture and accordingly social movements are structured as language we enter the field of semiotics directly. The aim of this study is to examine the discourse of Gezi Park Protests in the context of metaphoric and metonymic concepts which belongs to semiotics. The slogans and graffities in Protests will be taken as a base in this study. It is assumed that there ise a conversion from metaphoric plane to metonymic plane in the structure of these slogans and graffities. Transformation from metaphoric to metonymic plane is a suitable key to read social movements and change.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Keywords:<\/strong> Taksim Gezi Park protests, Semiotics, Metaphor, Metonymy<\/p>\n<h1>Gezi\u2019nin Dili: G\u00f6stergebilimsel Bir \u0130nceleme<\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00d6zet:<\/strong> T\u00fcrkiye\u2019nin yak\u0131n tarihinde meydana gelmi\u015f olan ve bir\u00e7ok a\u00e7\u0131dan ilkleri bar\u0131nd\u0131ran Gezi Park\u0131 Olaylar\u0131, g\u00f6stericilerin kulland\u0131klar\u0131 dil a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan da dikkat \u00e7ekicidir. \u00d6zellikle sloganlar ve duvar yaz\u0131lar\u0131 \u015feklinde kar\u015f\u0131m\u0131za \u00e7\u0131kan bu farkl\u0131 dil, olaylar esnas\u0131nda da s\u0131k\u00e7a dile getirilmi\u015f, pek \u00e7ok k\u00f6\u015fe yaz\u0131s\u0131na ve mizah dergisine de konu olmu\u015ftur. \u00d6nceki d\u00f6nemlerdeki g\u00f6steri ve protestolar\u0131n dillerine k\u0131yasla Gezi\u2019nin dili belirgin bir farkl\u0131l\u0131k arz etmektedir. Dildeki bu de\u011fi\u015fim\/d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fcm toplumsal olaylar\u0131 okumak a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan anahtar niteli\u011findedir.<br \/>\nK\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fcn ve dolay\u0131s\u0131yla toplumsal olaylar\u0131n dil gibi yap\u0131land\u0131\u011f\u0131 kabul edildi\u011finde do\u011frudan g\u00f6stergebilimsel bir incelemenin alan\u0131na girilmi\u015f olur. Bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmada Gezi Park\u0131 Olaylar\u0131ndaki s\u00f6ylem g\u00f6stergebilim kavramlar\u0131ndan olan metaforik ve metonimik ba\u011flamlarda incelenecektir. Bunu yaparken Gezi Park\u0131 Olaylar\u0131 s\u00fcrecinde kullan\u0131lan sloganlar ve duvar yaz\u0131lar\u0131 temel al\u0131nacakt\u0131r. Bu slogan ve duvar yaz\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131n yap\u0131lar\u0131nda metaforik d\u00fczlemden metonimik d\u00fczleme do\u011fru bir d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fcm oldu\u011funu varsay\u0131yoruz.
