The cinema exploring reality of social life in different points of view appears in different discipline. Cinema is used as a therapeutic component in the discipline of psychology, too. The aim of this study is to introduce the \u2018Iss\u0131z Adam\u2019 movie in terms of the Reality Therapy. Thus, the selections of Alper and Ada, who are the actor and actress of the film, were analyzed with reference to how they fulfill the need of love and belonging, survivor, power, freedom, fun. Similarly, it was shown that how Alper and Ada\u2019s selections make sense in their quality world and whether they feel sorrow or satisfaction in the context of Reality Therapy. Consequently, this study supports the theoretical knowledge about the Reality therapy and can be a model in teaching the concepts of this approach; so it is considered that the study will become a resource for academicians and students in the training of psychological counselors.<br \/>\n<strong>Keywords: <\/strong>Reality therapy, Choice theory, Basic needs, Quality world, Responsibility, Success \/ Failure identity<\/p>\n<h1>\u201cIss\u0131z Adam\u201d Filminin Ger\u00e7eklik Terapisine Dayal\u0131 \u0130ncelenmesi<\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00d6zet:<\/strong> Toplumu etkileyen ve toplumdan etkilenen sinema, sosyal ya\u015fam\u0131n ger\u00e7ekli\u011fini farkl\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131lardan ele al\u0131rken farkl\u0131 disiplinler i\u00e7erisinde yeniden hayat bulmaktad\u0131r. Bu disiplinlerden biri olan psikoloji alan\u0131nda sinema yap\u0131tlar\u0131 terap\u00f6tik bir \u00f6\u011fe olarak kullan\u0131labilmektedir. Nitekim, bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmada toplumu etkileyip, ayn\u0131 zamanda toplumdan etkilendi\u011fi d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclen sinema yap\u0131tlar\u0131ndan \u201cIss\u0131z Adam\u201d filminin, terap\u00f6tik bir \u00f6\u011fe olarak Ger\u00e7eklik terapisi kavramlar\u0131yla ili\u015fkilendirilerek farkl\u0131 bir bak\u0131\u015f a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131 ile sunulmas\u0131 ama\u00e7lanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bu ama\u00e7la, filmin esas kahramanlar\u0131ndan Alper ve Ada\u2019n\u0131n temel ihtiya\u00e7lar\u0131 olan sevgi ve ait olma, \u00f6zg\u00fcrl\u00fck, e\u011flence, g\u00fc\u00e7 ve hayatta kalma ihtiya\u00e7lar\u0131n\u0131 doyurma yollar\u0131nda ald\u0131klar\u0131 sorumluluk d\u00e2hilindeki se\u00e7imleri ele al\u0131nm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Ayr\u0131ca bu se\u00e7imlerin onlar\u0131n kalite d\u00fcnyalar\u0131nda nas\u0131l anlam buldu\u011fu ve onlar\u0131 pi\u015fmanl\u0131k yaratan ya da doyum sa\u011flayan bir ya\u015fama nas\u0131l g\u00f6t\u00fcrd\u00fc\u011f\u00fc Ger\u00e7eklik terapisi a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan ortaya konulmu\u015ftur.
