While independent films attempt to retain their economic status against Hollywood thanks to the provided budgets such as government subsidies, grants, and festival awards, they claim to have become the object of a cultural hegemony when they had to adapt to the criteria of such aforementioned Western alternative sources. In Turkey, in order to strengthen the national cinema, even it is subject to several criticisms throughout time, the law entitled \u201cLaw on the Evaluation and Classification of Movies and About Their Incentives\u201d with no 5224 which has been effective since 2004 and have been supporting the film production industry since then, many films\u2019 production has been made possible in this way. In this study, examinations are performed on the data of the incentives provided to the cinema in the 15 years corresponding to the period since Law No. 5224 has been operational. Ba\u011f\u0131ms\u0131z filmler; devlet destekleri, fon yard\u0131mlar\u0131 ve festival \u00f6d\u00fclleri gibi b\u00fct\u00e7eler sayesinde Hollywood\u2019a kar\u015f\u0131 ekonomik olarak mevcudiyetini korumaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131rken kendilerini s\u00f6z konusu Bat\u0131l\u0131 alternatif kaynaklar\u0131n kriterlerine adapte etmek zorunda kald\u0131klar\u0131nda k\u00fclt\u00fcrel bir hegemonyan\u0131n nesnesi haline geldikleri iddia edilir. T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de ise ulusal sinemay\u0131 g\u00fc\u00e7lendirmek amac\u0131yla, zaman i\u00e7erisinde \u00e7e\u015fitli ele\u015ftirilere maruz kalsa da 2004\u2019te y\u00fcr\u00fcrl\u00fc\u011fe girerek film yap\u0131m\u0131na destek vermeye ba\u015flayan 5224 say\u0131l\u0131 \u201cSinema Filmlerinin De\u011ferlendirilmesi ve S\u0131n\u0131fland\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131 \u0130le Desteklenmesi Hakk\u0131nda Kanun\u201d sayesinde pek \u00e7ok filmin \u00e7ekilebildi\u011fi g\u00f6r\u00fclmektedir. Bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmada 5224 say\u0131l\u0131 Kanun\u2019un faaliyete ge\u00e7mesinden itibaren ge\u00e7en 15 y\u0131ll\u0131k s\u00fcrede sinemaya yap\u0131lan desteklerin verilerine y\u00f6nelik de\u011ferlendirmeler yap\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.
