The course was started to be taught in elementary schools in 1968 and in secondary schools in 1973. Regarding the social studies course, the Ministry of National Education has developed or updated the curricula in 1953, 1968, 1969, 1990, 1998, 2005, 2015 and 2018. Initially, the Social Studies Curricula, consisted of history, geography and citizenship subjects, has included social science disciplines such as anthropology, archeology, economics, law, political science, psychology and sociology in time. The multi-disciplinary structure has turned into the interdisciplinary one in the following process. At the same time, some changes have been done in the general direction of the curricula. The aim of this study is to determine the trends of Social Studies Curricula from the past (1953) to the present (2020). Sosyal bilgiler dersine ili\u015fkin olarak Milli E\u011fitim Bakanl\u0131\u011f\u0131 taraf\u0131ndan 1953, 1968, 1969, 1990, 1998, 2005, 2015 ve 2018 y\u0131llar\u0131nda \u00f6\u011fretim program\u0131 yenileme veya g\u00fcncelleme \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 yap\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Ba\u015flang\u0131\u00e7ta tarih, co\u011frafya ve yurtta\u015fl\u0131k bilgisi konular\u0131n\u0131 i\u00e7eren Sosyal Bilgiler Dersi \u00d6\u011fretim Programlar\u0131 zamanla antropoloji, arkeoloji, ekonomi, hukuk, siyaset bilimi, psikoloji ve sosyoloji gibi di\u011fer sosyal bilim disiplinlerini de i\u00e7eren bir yap\u0131ya b\u00fcr\u00fcnm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. \u00c7ok disiplinli yap\u0131 takip eden s\u00fcre\u00e7te disiplinleraras\u0131 bir hal almaya ba\u015flam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Ayn\u0131 zamanda programlar\u0131n genel y\u00f6neliminde de birtak\u0131m de\u011fi\u015fiklikler meydana gelmi\u015ftir.
