Abstract: <\/strong> Some of Rousseau’s investigations based on universal ethical foundations have actuality with varieties of repercussions today. One of these was Dijon Academy’s, which lead Rousseau to compose his controversial work called First Discourse constitutes the foundation of our research. Today the progressive approaches to scientific and technological developments bring some discussions on ethics to our agenda. This stimulates some universal issues regarding education to re-visit for discussion. This research aims to analytically examine Rousseau’s ideas based on his major works in terms of how he universally grounded science, ethics, and values with specific reference to education. As a result of the research, it was concluded that universal ethics with an internal basis is essential within an effort to rethink and establish a life that fosters human dignity. This ethics can only be established by trust and respect for humanity on the axis of freedom and tolerance in education.<\/p>\n

\u00d6z: <\/strong> Rousseau\u2019nun evrensel nitelikteki etik dayanaklar\u0131 olan baz\u0131 soru\u015fturmalar\u0131 g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde de g\u00fcncelli\u011finden bir \u015fey kaybetmemi\u015f, yaln\u0131zca farkl\u0131 izd\u00fc\u015f\u00fcmleriyle \u015fekil de\u011fi\u015ftirmi\u015ftir. Rousseau\u2019nun Birinci S\u00f6ylev adl\u0131 tart\u0131\u015fmal\u0131 eserini olu\u015fturmas\u0131na yol a\u00e7an, Dijon Akademisi\u2019nin, \u201cbilimler ve sanatlar\u0131n geli\u015fmesi ahlak\u0131n d\u00fczelmesine yard\u0131m etmi\u015f midir?\u201d sorusu, bu ba\u011flamda, ara\u015ft\u0131rmam\u0131za temel olu\u015fturmaktad\u0131r. Bug\u00fcn, bilimsel ve teknolojik giri\u015fimlerin s\u0131n\u0131r tan\u0131mayan geli\u015fimi eksenindeki ilerlemeci anlay\u0131\u015f, etik alan\u0131nda baz\u0131 tart\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 da ka\u00e7\u0131n\u0131lmaz olarak g\u00fcndeme ta\u015f\u0131maktad\u0131r. Bu durum e\u011fitime dair baz\u0131 evrensel hususlar\u0131n, yeniden tart\u0131\u015fmaya a\u00e7\u0131lmas\u0131na yol a\u00e7maktad\u0131r. Rousseau\u2019nun belli ba\u015fl\u0131 eserlerini inceledi\u011fimiz belge incelemesine dayal\u0131 olan bu ara\u015ft\u0131rma, tarihsel ba\u011flam g\u00f6zetilerek kavramsal analiz y\u00f6ntemiyle y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fclm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. Ara\u015ft\u0131rma sonucunda gerek bilimle eti\u011fin gerekse e\u011fitimle ya\u015fam\u0131n, de\u011ferler ekseninde b\u00fct\u00fcnle\u015fti\u011fi, insanl\u0131k onuruna yak\u0131\u015f\u0131r bir hayat\u0131 yeniden d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnmek ve onu kurmak \u00e7abas\u0131 i\u00e7inde, i\u00e7sel dayanaklar\u0131 olan evrensel bir eti\u011fe elzem olarak ihtiya\u00e7 duyuldu\u011fu sonucuna ula\u015f\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bu etik de ancak \u00f6zg\u00fcrl\u00fck ve m\u00fcsamaha ekseninde, insana g\u00fcven ve sayg\u0131y\u0131 temel alan bir e\u011fitim anlay\u0131\u015fla temellendirilebilir.<\/p>\n
