The article is based on two main sections and subheadings. In the first part, in order to reveal the anatomy of education from tradition to modernity, firstly the ancient educational approach and then the capitalist and neoliberal approach to education are discussed in order to show the historical evolution of the modern education approach. In the second part, Kant\u2019s theory of education is presented in detail. In this section, the educational approach that Kant handles in his book On Education (\u00fcber P\u00e4dagogik) is summarized on the basis of the relationship between ancient and modern education. As a result, it has been concluded that the education theory put forward by Kant is a moderate education theory which is among the ancient and modern educational approaches. In this sense, it has been concluded that Kant confined the positive aspects of the ancient approach to education with the positive aspects of the contemporary approach. B\u00f6l\u00fcmde Kant\u2019\u0131n E\u011fitim \u00dczerine (\u00fcber P\u00e4dagogik) kitab\u0131nda olduk\u00e7a tafsilatl\u0131 bir \u015fekilde ele ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 e\u011fitim yakla\u015f\u0131m\u0131 kadim ve modern e\u011fitim anlay\u0131\u015f\u0131 aras\u0131ndaki ili\u015fki zemininde \u00f6zetlenmi\u015ftir. Netice olarak Kant\u2019\u0131n ortaya koymu\u015f oldu\u011fu e\u011fitim nazariyesinin, kadim ve modern e\u011fitim yakla\u015f\u0131mlar\u0131 aras\u0131nda yer alan mutedil bir e\u011fitim nazariyesi oldu\u011fu sonucuna ula\u015f\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bu anlamda Kant\u2019\u0131n, kadim yakla\u015f\u0131m\u0131n e\u011fitime y\u00f6nelik olumlu y\u00f6nleri ile \u00e7a\u011fda\u015f yakla\u015f\u0131m\u0131n olumlu y\u00f6nlerini mezcetti\u011fi kanaatine var\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.
